Derek Sr. is a seasoned professional with over thirty years of management and sales experience. At the young age of 26 years, he was given his first management position, with thirty five employees, a budget of 750,000.00, with a inventory of over two million dollars. After leaving the governmental side of business, he moved to the private sector in the contracting side of the Traffic Signal industry. He then moved to the private sector selling long sales cycles Traffic Signal equipment to local and state governmental agencies and contractors. He set up operations for two different companies and has sold over forty million dollars in the past twenty five years. He graduated from Lamar Tech. in 1981 with an ASIEE and then again from Lamar University with a BSITE in 1983. He is currently serving as a City Councilman for the City of Tomball, TX. He is well known in the surrounding area as a person who stands for our Right to Keep and Bear Arms!
